We may collect:
- Contact and inquiry data you submit through forms or email, such as name, company, email, phone, country, industry, plant type, interests, systems in use, and message content.
- Technical data automatically collected by our hosting or analytics providers, such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referral URLs.
- Communications data from emails or calls related to sales, support, or partnership discussions.
We do not ask you to submit plant operational datasets, credentials, or confidential OT network details through the public marketing contact form. Do not send passwords, API keys, or regulated personal data beyond what is needed to respond to your inquiry.
3. How we use information
- Respond to demo, pilot, and partnership requests
- Provide information about PlantIQ products and services
- Improve the website, forms, and marketing content
- Detect abuse, spam, and security issues (including honeypot fields)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact-form submissions to train public generative AI models.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we typically rely on: (a) legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a commercial website; (b) performance of pre-contractual steps at your request; and/or (c) consent where required for certain cookies or marketing communications.

PlantIQ serves customers and partners in multiple regions. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual protections with processors.
7. Retention
We retain inquiry records for as long as needed to manage the sales relationship, respond to follow-ups, and meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a marketing site and inquiry pipeline. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Customer plant deployments are governed by separate agreements and security practices scoped to that engagement.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use necessary cookies for operation and, where enabled, analytics or preference cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we deploy non-essential tracking that requires consent in your region, we will present an appropriate consent mechanism.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing and withdraw consent. To exercise rights, email sales@myplantiq.com. We may need to verify your request.
11. Children’s privacy
The site is directed to business and industrial professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy for website visitors.
